I agree, but we should also be as determined to eliminate the bankers who killed America and turned it into a post-industrial wasteland.
One detrimental problem with trying to unite America via eliminating white guilt and entitlements is the popular alternative available for the aftermath.
How can a fractured society possibly unite for strength without dissolving all cultural, regional, religious and ethnic communities and ideals?

I guess you will inform how your profession functions, Ms. South Carolina. America is sick and tired of the corporate welfare and bank bailouts, and many of you are more concerned about some impoverished innercity kids getting $100 worth of groceries with food stamps.

According to many posters on this board, the only conceivable reason a white person could either vote for Obama or take any sort of stance that on race relations that disagree with theirs is "white guilt". Those posters, sadly, are full of shite.

I certainly don't believe that. I believe most just don't have very much good sense, and are quite easily manipulated even in the face of logic, most of which they remain comfortably numb to. Others really are that far out in left field.

The government chose to rescue the financial system by extending a blank check to the largest, most powerful banks in their moment of greatest need. The government chose not to impose conditions that could reform the industry or even to replace the management of large failed banks. Instead it chose to stick with the bankers it had.
Should have allowed the bastards and their oligarchy to sink.

Guilt for what? I didn't do anything. Well there was that one time my junior year in high school when I kicked 2 black guys asses for jumping me. Oh and that other time i choked out a black guy on canal street for bum rushing me bc i laughed at him for tripping. Meh, I don't feel guilty.

Walter Williams used to have a certificate on his website that you could print out. It officially absolved you of all transgressions perpetrated by white people in history.

Zach, I have always wondered what the world will look like when the world majority has their wish granted and whites/Westerners go extinct.
We might as well take inventions like automobiles, electricity, and roads with us immediately before we go extinct. I mean, we certainly don't want to leave any reminders of the oppressors and colonists for the victims to view as landmarks.

There will be a lot of history revisionism.
I don't know how many posters here were adults during the Cold War but one thing that always cracked me up was the Russian phrase "We invented that."
If you tried to prove that capitalism was better than communism by pointing to cars, airplanes, etc. the Soviet response was "We invented all of those."

Where is all of this white guilt I keep hearing about? I'm serious. I mean I occasionally have heard some white folks espouse something that may come close to it, but it's pretty rare these days, imo.
