Got a bottle of this for christmas, haven't popped it open yet.
whats the best way to drink this, any interesting mixes? just shots? on the rocks?

My opinion is that the commercial honey bourbons and whiskeys are too sweet. I like adding honey to bourbon, but ti needs to be a touch of honey. I haven't tried it, but I'd think a 1:1 mix of the honey JD and regular JD would be tolerable.
I have had some Wild Turkey Honey is a hot toddy. Not bad, but if I were sick I'd prefer to use my own honey/whiskey mix. The WT version didn't have that throat-coating effect.

Ive mixed with regular coke and its fine. That said, it not exactly one of my top choices.

Drank some over ice and a splash of water. On the sweet side. Thinking of pouring some in a pecan pie mix before baking.

I'm on my 6th bottle. It's all I've been drinking lately. I love the sweet taste. I keep it in the freezer with the shot glasses that came with it. I sip it straight and use a new cold glass from the freezer each time I get another shot. The most I can handle is about 4 shots but not everyday.

I really like it. I'd drink a few glasses after dinner every night and enjoyed it.

I actually don't care for it. I bought it with intentions of trying something different. I mixed it with coke to make it easier to drink. I prefer a non flavored whiskey.

Try it with ginger ale if you haven't.
