I'm thinking about planting some citrus trees by a couple of stands to attract deer. Anybody with any experience with this? Advice?

Need a male and female to produce. Makes fruit in 6 years. Late fall is when they produce iirc.

Persimmons normally drop fruit in late September and October. Crabapples would be another good option. Never had deer eat citrus at my house.
