This is the most likely chance at 20 wins. I dont see us winning all of those. Would be a serious challenge.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that LSU could sweep USCe, Alabama, and ATM. We could also beat the Black Bears.

It really sucks that LSU only has 29 games this year and every other SEC team has 31... TJ fricked us right there...

It falls in line with the pattern he established at LSU. Didn't use all available scholarships, didn't fill all available coaching spots, and didn't schedule the full allotment of games.

And didn't know who Jersey Shore was.

South Carolina much more than Bama. I think aTm will be very important. I dont know why I didn't put that @SC game as a W cause that is actually pretty obvious pick for us to possibly get to 20. I will say though, getting to 19 this year with only 29 games would be as impressive as 20 with a full schedule.

If we get to 19, that means we win 10 in conference play. That should give us a good enough seeding in the conf tourney to get to 20 wins. If we win 1 or 2 games in the SECT with 10 conf wins and good wins over UCI, NWST, and Seton Hall, that's NIT.

Alabama has lost to everyone with a pulse. ATM lost to Southern. USCe has really fallen off a cliff.

All of those games are not only winnable, but sweepable. But I guess that's the homer in me coming out...

We still have not won in Tuscaloosa since 2004, and that is no matter how bad Bama has been.

I really hope we are gonna sweep all theose teams, but at this point Im not willing to say I think it happens. We are 1-2 on the road. Though I think UCI will be a tournament team (Big West auto) and Boise and Marquette are pretty decent squads, I just don't know how we will react to the SEC.

According to the RPI site it projects us to go 20-9. I think it seems somewhat off on some of our wins and losses but it's definitely possible. LINK

If we pick up a win over either Mizzou, UK, Florida, or Tennessee on the road, go 20-9, and pick up a win or two in the SECT, we will most likely be dancing.

I agree it's unlikely, and we would prolly need a bit of luck to accomplish it. But I think we're about due for a bit of luck.

We may be able if we get a good draw in the SECT getting us an additional win or two.

(also wouldn't help to not be one and done in the NIT)

I'd say that, and an NIT berth, would be meeting expectations for this season.

You're expectations were that high coming into this year? I was prepared for a dreadful season and planned on giving CJJ a pass given the state of the program. What he has done for LSU hoops in less than a year is nothing short of remarkable

I was prepared for around 16-13 or so.

I was honestly thinking anywhere between 15-14 and 12-17. I knew we had some pieces coming back (Hickey and JOBIII mainly), but with a new staff and who we lost (Turner and Hamilton), my expectations weren't high.

He's done a good job this year, I'm really excited for next season.

Has anyone watched TN play this year? They are terrible, LSU WILL beat them. TN has failed to score 40 points twice this season already and scored 45 in another game that they got demolished by Okie St.

20 wins would be a stretch, but it is not out of reach
