I hate that trash talking. It's not enough just to play the game with intesity you now have to taunt the other team. I see defensive players getting burned deep for 30 plus yards while losing games and they get up in guys faces trash talking. The USC player did not wrap up at all. That's what a lot of kids do today. Go for the big hit and that's why tackling is as bad as its ever been.

Clearly the ball carrier stopped his own forward momentum himself to try and juke--that is why the hit looks so spectacular. It actually wasn't.

The thing Gamecock fans wont tell you is that Ellington was laughing at Swearinger after the hit(and flex) and got up smiling and ran back to the huddle. I mean yea it looked cool but they talk about it like it put Ellington out of the game or something.

I wish you guys could have seen what a lot of Clemson fans put on fb and everywhere else about that being a bad hit/targeting. If they think our defense hit hard they have another thing coming with LSU.

And why was Ellington in a Green Practice Jersey at the first bowl practice? Lingering Effects of the hit.

The lsu usc game and the bama game both looked like pro teams hitting each other out there! It was awesome and scary to watch at the same time.
