probably not. Kind of a dumb decision on his part. Not to leave Penn State, but to go to a school with a starting QB the same age as he. He isn't even the second string.

Yes he will if everyone ahead of him on the roster at the QB position is injured.

yeah I always found that kind of an odd choice on his part. though he could (and I guess essentially has) redshirt this yr and still have a yr left after Mett leaves.

They aren't the same age. Bolden will still have another of eligibility after Mett leaves.

Bolden is more talented than Rivers IMO. I think there will be a good battle between them once Bolden gets healthy and has another year in the system.

I could see neither starting as well, if Rettig and Jennings are the real deals.

so he was injured. I'd seen someone mention that once, but there was not much talk of it. what's the injury?

Randal is more athletic and more talented. Despite being younger, he probably has a nod on the depth chart.

every depth chart I saw had Bolden at 3rd string and Randall not listed. a guy who had just gotten here in August beat out a "more talented" guy who had been in the system for a yr. I was excited to see what Randall could be, but that doesn't bode well for him.

Randall probably won't be here next year.

Tore his ACL, I believe.

Yeah and then he will battle Rivers and Randall. That'll be a good position battle actually. I'm looking forward to it.

Take it easy. Speculation about transfers is not encouraged here. It could be construed as talking bad about LSU players. Randall will have his chance to battle for the starting job, I think.
