I was informed of doing a quick sear on duck breasts and then letting them soak in soy sauce, sugar, and other ingrediants. I am trying to find/google it but have had no luck. Does anybody know this recipe? TIA.

Nope, I typically skillet fry it in a cast iron and then make a gravy with the drippings and such. Sorry

many great duck breast receipes over on the OB
I typically put a pat of butter in the frying pan then once melted add thinly sliced breast strips and montreal steak seasoning.
You only need a few min 1-3 on each side until done. Remove from the heat while still able to squish blood from the strips and let them sit for a few minutes.
Goes great with a fried egg.

Brown the hell out of them in a little bit of grease and then make a gravy. Cook 'em down until tender.
