EIGHTEEN All about attitude on the field that matches the attitude on the field

1 - Who says 18 will leave for the NFL?

2 - I would be surprised if Alfred Blue is not the next 18.....

By the way, couldn't Blue play Safety? He is a football player!!!

True, but some people are just football players, ala Spencer Ware, Michael Clayton...

Clayton could have been a great safety per Saban...

I think blue has every chance to be a great safety... Athleticism, Hitting and tackling ability.... just my assessment

When have you assessed his tackling ability?

Blue has played special teams as a freshman (for sure) .. is he not on the kcik off team still?? Obviously you haven't seen him this year much, he was injured

went to his profile.... Freshman year: Contributed with five tackles and a forced fumble on special teams ...

Seems to have been only his freshman year... at least mentioned on his player profile

Was a thread about him here as well:

So it is official now, right? Logan is leaving for the NFL.

Otherwise, wouldn't HE still be 18

Why in the hell would you put Blue at any other position besides RB? He's right there with Hill in terms of talent at the RB position. It's just like T.J. Yeldon, a great change of pace. Would probably even bode well as the lone starter (not saying I'm in favor of this).

Blue could play safety and be a good high school level one at that...but he ain't doing it in the SEC or NFL.

Although Lsu has great running backs, Hill will start. He is a beast. Also Blue is a great change of pace.

I'm a little confused why you want to move our best RB to safety...

This!!
Only I was >>>>> confused.
He was a hell of of RB before injury and expect same from him when returns from his injury? Not sure why we would want change his position. Very big threat with his speed and turning the corner.

We want as many running backs as we can get. Remember the 'wearing the defense' down strategy?

I love that fans think they know everything. A few posters thought it was a mistake to nit try him at lb. Blue was our best rb before the injury.

no one said he should, I questioned the board for their opinions... completey hypethetical, and not a recommendation

But remember, LSU almost moved him to WR at the beginnign of the season
