Saw the Jack Reacher movie this afternoon.

It's very good.
I've read every Jack Reacher novel. I pre-order them in hardback so I get them the day they come out. I love the series, and no, I couldn't see Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher.
Having said that, the movie is still very good. It succeeds in spite of Tom Cruise, rather than because of him, but it was way better than I thought it was going to be.
If you're a fan of the books, the movie is definitely worth seeing.

Dude is pretty much the most consistent actor in Hollywood who chooses the best scripts for a Hollywood box office and critical success.
Just cause he jumps on Oprah's couch, might be gay, or believes in Xenu you'd deny yourself watching some of the most entertaining movies of the past 20 years???

I don't understand this at all. He isn't a bad actor at all, and has even had a couple stellar performances in his career. Why would you avoid one of his movies?

Because I am not a Cruise fan. The only two movies of his I hold in high regard are Top Gun (Great) and The Last Samurai (Good). Other then that I have no interest in him.
