Is it realistic to think we could have a monster finish?

Seriously, I always enjoy the articles I read on Robert Nkemdiche. Whenever a reporter asks him about LSU, he always replies positively. Maybe it's not first yet on his list, but I do seriously think we have a chance with this guy.
Reuben Foster is another story. I mean, LSU has everything to offer this kid. Chances for the title, stiff and consistent defense, and a good shot at making the NFL. I think if we can get him a visit to LSU, we'd have a pretty decent shot.
Priest Willis loved his visit thanks to the coaching staff and Craig Loston. It's still going to be hard to sway him away from UCLA and other schools closer to him. Still when you put them side by side, LSU fits perfectly. Practically every player in our secondary for the past few years has gone to the NFL.
Maquedius Bain, I hear is silent to LSU. Would be a huge get for us. Great player. He probably will be in purple and gold when its all said and done.
Kendell Beckwith is hard to tell. I don't really know if he is leaning towards Alabama or towards LSU. The fact that its in-state for us I don't think really matters. Most recruits want to go somewhere else and find something new. However, I don't think he's a headcase like Landon Collins. From what I've seen and heard of the kid, he is very humble and modest. Never says anything bad about anyone or anything. I hope we get him.
So what do say? Do you think we finish with 5/5 on these guys? I'm gonna go with 3/5. I think we get Priest, Beckwith, and Bain. Still would be a monster finish for our staff though

Seems to be the consensus right now, which would be great.

I think we finish with Bain, Willis, and Beckwith as well...I wouldn't be surprised with Nkemdiche either....someone just made this exact same thread with a different title tho. But I already know you "dgaf"...

We get Bain, possibly Beckwith, then some random arse kid we have never heard of that will start by his sophomore year.

I am on this too. I drank the kool aid.
I also think Duke Riley takes the gray shirt offer.

For whatever reason, I'm liking our chance with Willis since he visited. I kind of wish he would have committed while he was here though.
I'd be really really happy with Bain, Beckwith and Willis.

Any shot with Goodman? Did he make it here with Willis?

Don't want Reuben Foster. If you decommit from a school bc Trooper Taylor left and he was a "mentor" to you, there is some serious decision making issue here. Don't want.

Honestly I think we pull RN or Bower, RF, Bain and Willis.

I read on one of those ESPN insider articles that Bower wanted to schedule an official with us.

Is there any chance PP7 could help with this kid? He's playing in this kids backyard. I'm sure he's all over AZ sports tv and Cardinal coverage. Always seems to rep LSU.

Is the Artie Burns recruitment officially over?

Bain, Riley and Cethan Carter is our finish....if you read the Nola.com article where Jim Smith interviews Priest and his Dad, there is no way you can deduce LSU is leading above UCLA, AZ St, and FSU. In the end, as we have seen time and time again, distance wins out and he plays at UCLA for a former NFL Secondary coach in Mora. Foster, Jamal Carter, and all the other guys out there everyone is dreaming about aren't coming here.

Absolutely false. Most want to play at the school they follow and the one where all of their peers cheer for. Also most want to represent where they're from. It's the rare few that don't.

Reuben Foster and Beckwith I think go elsewhere. I think they are both longer shots then the other four mentioned.
Bain is probably the best of the five to feel positive about.
Priest I think is the second best change of getting.
RN is probably a little less likely but I have hope.
My purple and gold glasses say we get Bain, Priest and RN!

I dont think Nkemdiche is convinced on LSU yet but I believe that the more he thinks about it that he sees he should go to LSU or Bama and I think he has written off Bama...
