| Question for the state of Alabama and Miss. folks (Posted on 12/18/12 at 11:04 am)
That follow High school football. Can you guys give me any information on the Cleveland High School program? Mainly their head coach, Danny Adams? Just doing a little digging. TIA

he current head coach at Cleveland High School in Alabama. He has a 220-122 career record spanning the states of Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. He guided Lawrence County (Ms.) state championship in 1999 and led the Winfield Pirates to the Alabama Class 3A title game in 2004. He is currently the head coach at Cleveland High School (Al.).
Is this pretty much it? Would there be a reason why he's looking for a job in Louisiana?

I remember when he was at Lawrence County in Mississippi. I don't know much about his tenure at Cleveland High School. He was hired there in 2011. He's also a little older, pushing 60.

I've never heard of Cleveland HS, and I'd say I follow AHSAA football to an extent.

Could be drawing retirement from MS, we have a lot of coaches from here who will do that.

Blount County. Small school. Not that great. I can't even remember the last time they made the playoffs.

I think he tried to get on at St. James last year. He also accepted a job in Tennessee (Rhea County) and backed out a few days later. Maybe he just likes to move around, a la Saban (I kid, I kid.
