My newly built AR looks almost exactly like this minus the free float. I also have an ambi LWRC sling and different flash suppressor but the FDE look is very nice.

Question, I have lower receiver built, the trigger play only moves a hair and releases the hammer, it doesn't squeeze more than like a quarter inch. Is that right? Will it be different when upper is on it?

Did you put the trigger assembly together correctly?

I'd start there, probably reassemble it and see if it still does it. When you get the upper you'll be able to do an actual function check, but it shouldn't be a hairline trigger even without the upper.

What LPK did you use?
