Where is the closest place near the West Bank that I could buy a fresh half gallon or gallon shucked oysters today?

I don't know if that oyster place is still next to the seafood flea market but they used to shuck onsite. If they are there they might not be open on a Sunday. Perhaps someone else can provide the name and you will be able to call.

You don't wanna drive back to cutoff for more samples?

Go to the seafood lot in Westwego. Just don't speed because the local popo love to write tickets.

The oyster place is still next to the seafood lot, but I'm not sure of the name or the hours... lotta help I am.
I will say the one time I bought them, I wasn't impressed.

Went to the lot around 10:30am
Found some very nice oysters. Bought a gallon for $40. Salty, big, and delicious.
Bought 20 lbs of jumbo shrimp for $4/lb. de-headed and set aside 3 lbs. frying shrimp and oysters for the game right now.
12pk of Abita Golden going down really smooth too

Do you remember which vendor you got your oysters from? You made me hungry.
