I'm a big fan of John Candy and ran across a skit on YouTube from some old show from the 80's. Pretty funny stuff.

Looks like SCTV. Bunch of other decent folks were on that show, too.
ETA:
Hmmm... Looks like it was from the New Show. Don't remember that one. Although Dave Thomas was on SCTV with him as well. Maybe they renamed the Canadian show for American TV.

The New Show was a short-lived, prime time NBC series produced in 1984 by Lorne Michaels about a year (IIRC) before he returned to SNL.
