So this is based on talent alone? Production? Importance to the team? Overall?

I don't think I can put any defensive player above Streif right now.

Id put Lofton, Harper, and Jordan above him at the very least

These guys are all kind of in the same boat for me. They have good games and bad games and never really do much to stand out. Maybe I'd put Jordan ahead of him just because he's finally on a little upswing (although he's disappeared since the Eagles game).

Can make a case for Lofton in the top 10, he has been one of the few bright spots on defense.

If you want to talk about from a mental standpoint included, Vilma has a very high level of importance. The guys that have been around a while might not be at the level they once were, but they have been part of what has made this team great over the years: Brees, Colston, Thomas, Evans, Moore, Henderson, VIlma, Smith, Harper

For #2 my vote goes to Colston, he has been the 2nd most consistent player on this team. 1000+ yards in all but one season, and only missed that mark once because of an injury.

I put Vilma so low just because he has been gone so long.
