depends if your league has a rule against it. If there is no rule against it I don't see a problem with it.

My league messed up and didn't process my claims at first.

I always check the option to "lock eliminated teams."

I wait until the playoff teams have first dibs and then if I need someone I'll pick someone up on Friday or so. I play to the end.

Last year was my first year playing. I didn't make the playoffs but didn't want to finish last. So I made a few moves and then realized that probably hurt a few teams in the playoffs. So this year they removed that option and kicked all the non playoff teams out. This year I am 14-0.

If they're playing against someone that's in playoff contention I have no problem with it. Happened in my league. Good thing you made that waiver move. It'll help you tremendously in your 7 v. 8 matchup to close the season out.

Hey, frick you for complaining, seriously he's still playing an trying to win. So you think teams like the Saints and the Jaguars should just stop trying?

I'm with you. He's playing to beat his current opponent. Who's to say he can't use the waiver wire to try to beat his opponent. If you're still using the waiver wire as a crutch in the playoffs, then your team is weak and you deserve to lose. I am in that situation in one league. My team is weak but I've been getting lucky. I'm not going to get pissed because some other team not in the playoffs took the Lions D. If I seriously need the Lions D to win, then my team sucks. Which it does.
