Not Bad for a Former Nanny: Tiger Woods Ex

Elin Nordegren, fresh off her $100M settlement with Tiger, purchased a 17,000 sq foot beach front mansion in Fla for $12.2M. She then had it completely demolished & is in the process of building a 21,000 sq. ft mansion. To the victorious goes the spoils.

She did this atleast a year ago.

Not sure about Florida, but people do that shite in California all the time, especially in the greater LA or San Fran area where property values are insane.

I'm not really pissed about her demolishing the house [my boss did the same thing with her property in Lafayette]. But, why is she even in the news anymore?

Yessir... I did this when purchasing property in Encino, not too far from Malibu for next to nothing...

Kirk Herbstreit did something similar, he bought a house and had the fire department burn it down. Try to get a tax write off but the IRS said no.

Pretty sure the house she bulldozed was the one she got from Tiger as part of the divorce settlement. It was his dream home that he had built. It wasn't like she just took a random place and trashed it.
