2012 All District and State

Anyone know when the All-district and state come out? I'm sure it will be soon with the season over

Not sure, I think All State comes out on Christmas day. All District may be a week before.

The papers don't print them until a week after the state championships, so next weekend most likely.

I wonder why so long after?
Either way, it's always fun to look at those things and try to figure out who some of the future stars are.

I was referring to the all-state teams. The all-district teams have already been selected, but of course, the Times Picayune waits until after the season to print them, along with the all-state teams.
Usually, the all-district teams are selected the week after the regular season ends. When I made all-district my senior year, I was invited to this photo shoot at Bonnabel High in Metaire for Friday Night Football's presentation of the teams..this was during the week of the 2nd round of the playoffs (I do not mean to brag with that post
- just saying that the all-district teams are most likely already picked).

All-State starts Tuesday with Class 1A and it will be staggered until Christmas with Mr. Footall.
