Is Willie Fritz being considered for any of the head coach openings?

Has this guy's name been thrown around at all for open jobs?
It seems like he would be a good candidate for Texas Tech, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, and LaTech...
It does seem that his successful run in the FCS playoffs could actually hurt him when it's all said and done due to the timing, which is irony at its finest.

He's a candidate at Southern Miss. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the job.

Not a flashy hire, never coached at a BCS school. Not an energizing type of personality that USM is looking for. No Mississippi connections heck no Southeast connections.

I will give you that he might not be a 'flashy hire' that fans want. Having said that, do people think guys that have been coordinators at BCS schools are more qualified than a guy that has run his own program successfully at a place like Sam Houston State?
