Congratulations, all look like solid hires and should make this league even tougher.
Also congratulations on staying away from Petrino. Hiring him would have been the most soul selling desperate move ever, this guy crapped on Arkansas and should never be an SEC HC again. Never.

What a pile of silly nonsense. If he is being black-balled, it is because he lied to his bosses and they don't think they can trust him. Arky had to fire him because he put her on the payroll, but that ain't the most heinous thing ever done...probably going on at every SEC school with lower profile personnel.

It's too soon for petrino.
He needs to go out west. They are more forgiving. People in the Deep South can be pretty judgemental.

I think Petrino is out of the SEC for good. He wants to be in the SEC, but there will be a few big boosters at every school who refuse to approve of his hire.
He will always have major problems recruiting going forward.

I see more problems from the AD than the boosters. You can't trust him anymore as his boss to do the right thing and he isn't going to let you closely over see every hire of his. He'll want his staff but has shown to not be able to do that ethically. He's in a catch 22 as far as that's concerned. I see some boosters wanting to hire him because most of the time they just want to win. If butch jones or malzahn fail at their jobs look for petrino to take one of those jobs when his name cools off in a few years.
