Going there this weekend, what should I expect and what's good to order?

The half-price happy hour pizza & drinks(3-6 daily) is a solid deal.

Ordered this the last time I went, really didn't care for it...at all. Tasted like butter noodles with little tiny chunks of crab meat tossed in.

The gnocci is excellent though, and so is the pizza.

You'll have a good time.

First, not to be a dick, but it's Domenica. No apostrophe "s". It means Sunday in Italian.

My favorites are:

Beets, gorgonzola and arugula

Tagliatelle and rabbit

Garganelli

And, yes, their pizzas are great.

Dress a little nicer than casual. It was recommended to me when I asked about casual places to eat in the quarter. We went there still wearing our game clothes and just looking through the window I could tell we were not dressed up enough. Wound up going to Deanie's which was meh and kind of pricey.

I agree with this, probably my favorite thing there. I also enjoy their white truffle risotto.

I like it much more than both Luke and the steakhouse. Those are the only three that I've gone to, do you really think it is worse than those two?

If you like Domenica's, try A Mano's.

Similar type place, a bit more unassuming, though.
