Just finished BO2's campaign and...

I have two questions.
1. How would the campaign differ if you were to shoot Harper instead of trying to shoot Menendez?
2. What the hell happened to that girl after she was kidnapped by Defalco? After that mission she just disappeared from the story.
eta: I have another question also. Why did Menendez self destruct the drone army he had at his disposal? I'm not quite clear on that.

1. Depends on if you were successful in saving the girl from Defalco.
2. She was a loose end and that's why Menendez wanted to get her.
I saved the chick and ended up shooting Harper. And I basically saved the world.

1. Shooting Harper keeps you on the path of the best possible ending.
2. If you do those Strikeforce missions, you actually save her in the last one.
Menendez is a wack job and he wanted the citizens of the US to rise up and cause chaos all over instead
