What is the best thing to apply to my lawn for weed control during this time of year?
My grass is a mixture of Centipede and Bermuda. The turf is half dead, but some weeds are popping up, mainly clovers. Some patches of clover are really prominent. Should I get something specifically for the clovers or something that covers more stuff?

if your lawn goes totally dormant spray the weeds with round up. If not look for a seletive broadleaf herbicide.

A bunch of Washington college kids should keep the weed on your lawn down to a minimum

Spot-spray with 2,4-D. (on a day that is not windy)

Our neighbor has these pellets and a spreader thing and it works well. He hooks us up.

i leave clovers be, they die in the spring and give awesome nitrogen to that area, get maybe a winter weed and feed for dolloar weed and dandelions but not a lot.

Depends on lawn size, but with clover you've got to kill the bulb, pulling the tops makes them propagate. Get a spot treatment for your lawn type and apply. It's been too warm to start spraying Round Up in you're yard.

Don't spray roundup onto any area of your lawn. You should use a liquid broad leaf weed killer. Follow instructions-don't go heavy handed with it.
