BBJ LSU Fan BR Member since Apr 2012 113 posts	Thinking of converting my storage room into a guest room? (Posted on 12/9/12 at 7:53 pm) I'm looking for any suggestions and or if anyone has done this themselves. The storage room is connected to my garage. It's 155 sqft. Has a window. Has electricity. 3 outlets. It also has a garage door opening which I would want to cover up with something I can remove in case I want to sale the house without removing garage door. Anyone in construction have any suggestions. I would use a window unit probably.

(Posted on 12/9/12 at 8:03 pm to BBJ) a bedroom might be worth more than a garage...if so, I'd remove the garage door and make the bedroom... if not, you are gonna have to figure out a way to work around the garage door, while still insulating correctly and sealing it up... also, I would consider an AC/heating unit that you can build into the wall and not one that fills up the only window...
