i've been wanting to watch this movie for awhile now. well, ever since Black Swan came out. Maltin said he rather watch The Red Shoes again than Black Swan. (he gave BS a negative review and i spit on him for that)
The Red Shoes is on Netlfix, but on dvd. This dude is on the disc plan. looks like BB has it on Blu Ray - the criterion collection. so i will get it that way.
Scorsese restored it in 2009.

Don't know about this film, but Red Shoe Diaries was, um, entertaining.

Visually very impressive; whether you get involved in the story will depend on your mood at the time. Definitely worth seeing.

Black Swan is a great film with a great lesbian kissing scene.
Red Hoes is a boring film with no lesbian kissing scene.
Always found Powell and Pressburger to be dull. Black Narcissis is another snoozer from them.

One of my GF's favorites. If you watch it with your SO, you will get lucky.
