| The Story of Stuff (Posted on 12/8/12 at 6:35 pm)
Each new "film" in this series gives me a renewed zeal for punching this little ex-Greenpeace twat in the pussy. The critique videos are spot on and bring light to the cheap tricks played by the series, but they're not playing those in schools, like they are these. Marxism for kids. Some fun examples: The (original) Story of Stuff Story of Broke Story of Electronics Story of Bottled Water Story of Cap and Trade and my favorite Story of Citizens United v. FEC

I saw "TIDES FOUNDATION" and knew what I was in for. When she got to "our government spends 50% of its money on the military"... well, that was just too much bull shite for me (my tolerance is low today).

should give me some entertainment tonight one of the things that made me laugh is when she said that they would make things moduler and not make you get a new things. I said are you an idiot most of the things in our world today have replacable parts, (well alteast the things that break.) My compture which is about 3 or 4 years old now is on its second hard drive and 2nd battery. If your theory that every time something breaks we just replace the whole thing then I would be on my 4th computer in 4 years. Plus she likes to pull things out of thin air, too the moores law thing means that technology will advance to quickly that it only makes sense to buy new things when they come out, its the nature of the market not some evil plot to make alot of money. got to love these videos.

My favorite moment was in the Story of Broke, when she says that because of government bailouts, we have less to spend "on the things that made this country great, like schools and the EPA." That's a direct quote. The EPA is what makes this country great. You should watch the critique videos. They're far more informed than these cute propaganda videos.
