"So I know that lowering rates won't stimulate the economy. The only way to stimulate growth is to put money in the hands of the middle class." - Caller Thom Hartman's radio show yesterday... and Hartman of course acted like the guy was a genius. Your degree makes you correct. Got it. The professors of his day imprisoned Galileo. They had degrees. We see how right they were every day. ETA: Thanks Russian. Thinking about someone else.

Then why aren't they talking about a middle class tax cut? Not rates staying the same, but an actual cut. Oh, I forgot, it makes more sense to demonize and punish 2% of the population.

You know how that works. The upper class creating jobs and the middle class working making good money. 1 more thing the middle having good jobs and not worring about a collapse of the economy then they spend money. Very easy. You have to have both the middle class with jobs and the upper class creating jobs. Plain and simple.

Hmm, do you think this person realizes that lowering rates does keep more of the middle classes money in their hands?

Why does this man assume that lower rates for the "rich"=higher rates for the middle class? DA assumed the same junk as well.

This growing the economy from the middle out is such bull shite. Where will the middle class get all this money to stimulate the economy?

What grows the middle class? Good paying jobs. How do you get a good paying job? Go to fricking school, get a degree (even if it's a Vo-Tech) then apply all over the place. Working the floor at Best Buy is not a "good paying job" nor do you need a degree to do it. Neither is being a carhop at Sonic. Neither is working the register at a convenience store. Sadly though, those are the most available jobs because the economy is so deep in the shitter. If DC will stop dicking around with meaningless tax hikes and just freeze rates for 5-7 years and cut spending to FY 2000 levels, the economy will take the frick off and more middle class jobs will be created. This shite is only rocket science if you are looking at it through a lens of party bias.
