| How Can Athletes Not Going Through Financial Problems Sell Championship Rings? (Posted on 12/8/12 at 1:41 pm)
Ron Artest and Heath Evans are among those who raffled off their rings to charity. Why didn't they just donated $10k to the charity and keep the ring? After how hard they worked for it, why give it up?

Are you asking how they can part with their rings? Up to them, they obviously don't need a ring to remember they won a Superbowl, or NBA championship. I guess they fgure they would rather give something to others than keep a purely material reminder of their achievement
