rt3 LSU Fan BR... from NOLA through Laffy Member since Apr 2011 5705 posts	re: Why Don't They Just Name the Team The Brass (Posted on 12/8/12 at 2:01 pm to boom roasted) I'm not sure how trademarks work... esp. when it comes to something that's not currently in use but if I'm not mistaken (former NOLA Mayor, future convict) Ray Nagin still owns the trademark for the Brass that could add to the convenience argument that Benson would have to buy it from Nagin to make it happen (if that is truly what would need to happen for Brass to be the Hornets new name) this pelican is disappoint This post was edited on 12/8 at 2:19 pm
