I feel for him he was a good guy and he did a good job this year. Granted he was loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball. If we had hired Charlie Strong a defensive minded coach then we might have kept Chaney but Jones is more of an offensive coach. It sounds like Pittman is out which is a shame he is a great recruiter and OL coach. Graham was expected. Hinshaw might be kept around.

when Dooley was fired about 3 weeks ago I even saw some Bama fans on their message board calling dibs on UT's OC Chaney.

Chaney was my darhorse for HC if everyone else turned it down. He seemed like he'd fit their type.
