6'4" so probably damn near 9' with his hands stretched out plus 40". Hypothetically he could go get a ball 12+ feet in the air.

I can't watch youtube right now.

It's too bad for him that Curtis won't throw the ball more. They have a couple QBs that can get it to him consistently enough, I think one is graduating this year though.

His offense just isn't conducive to showing off his skills.

Curtis has been an aerial attack compared to usual this year

That could mean they've gone from 5 passes a game to 9. 80% more passes!

basically every game they throw Malachi the ball 3 times and gets around 100 yards and a touchdown. He said it just gets boring.

At camp, his route running was a pleasant surprise. He wasn't a "raw" veer WR who only knew how to run a go-route off play action.

Give him credit for finding other ways to develop his game even if it's not happening as much on Friday nights.

Well, one thing is for sure, he'll have a chance to reach the field early wherever he goes (hopefully LSU) because his run blocking will be on point from day one.

And my guess was pretty accurate, Curtis has averaged a shade under 10 passes a game this year.

Considering they play ball control, then with running clock in the second half of every game, that's probably a third of the plays they run.

I'd love to see Curtis matched up with the Karr-Neville winner in a "champion of champion" games next week. Just give Curtis an opponent that can at least stay on the field with them.

To be fair, Scout has him at 6'3".

Dupre's scout profile

Might just not be updated. I trust Clean over anyone when talking about Curtis.

I just wish he'd start adding prospects from other schools to their database. It's pretty lacking, which sucks to me because I find it the easiest to navigate.

But if you're in the '14 or '15 class and don't go to Curtis or live in Iberia parish, you won't get a scout profile until you actually commit to someone.

I talk to him pretty regularly. Any prospects you want me to pass along?

Karr has a few in the '14 class, a TE and some DL besides Willis.

Acadiana has '15 TE that's going to be a college prospect. They have some other good skill players as well in the '14 and '15 class.

There are others out there as well. It's just weird to search for future recruits and see a kid from Curtis listed in every catergory. Even if he's 5'11" 190lb TE.

I like Trey Quinn a lot and the kid is a clutch athlete but this is what I was talking about with people not understanding rankings. I have never seen Dupre play or seen what kind of an athlete he is. I speculated that despite stats that maybe Dupre was rated more highly because he has more upside and athletic potential. Quinn has a stud QB that throws it all over the field at Barbe. Dupre looks like he has 3 inches on Quinn, longer arms, and off the charts athleticism. Dupre's skills aren't showcased in JT's offense. 40 inch vertical at 6'4" is great with a Randy Moss type frame. LSU needs a difference maker at receiver. I don't know if its Dupre but I would rather have a bigger athlete than a smaller one if the ability is close.
