I'm absolutely not saying the guy deserved to die, but his wife must feel like shite for escalating that situation. They should have walked away. Who gives a shite if some person calls you names on the street in the Quarter at 3 AM? Thats a situation that, to me, screams its potential for violence. Very sad.

Why? It could stand to reason she started talking a bunch of shite and then her husband decide to fight the guy. Since the husband is trained for combat, it could have been self defense to kill him with a knife. You don't know what happened, but since the perp is black and the deceased is a marine, that doesn't matter to you, does it?

How do you explain the killer getting out of his vehicle and not just driving off if he felt threatened?
