What's your experience with it?

Looks like a neat little .22

Worried about the cheap price equaling cheap product.

ive held 3 in the last week... i havn't pulled the trigger,... Almost half the price of the Smith and Wesson... They're usually priced between 250 and 300..... It feels good in the hands, sights pretty good...... All the dang plastic really bothers me though.. Makes me wonder if one drop in the garage would break it..

is that the kind of stuff you're thinking about?

That will always be the case. If you want a solid sturdy product, you have to pay more. It gets the job done and performs very well. It feels cheap though b/c its plastic. You aren't buying this gun if you want quality. You are buying this guy if you want to have fun for cheap. I don't care that mine feel like plastic. I just use it to mess around with in the backyard. Personally, there is no point for me to pay twice as much for a S&W 15-22 or Sig22 because it will accomplish the same exact thing as this little Mossberg.

Geauxt, I think it was 500 and some change. I have a few sig ARs and they are nice and the boy wanted a sig too.

This is how I feel. I have a coworker looking to sell one. It's the flat top model with the removable front and rear sites. He's offering it for $250 and I see that they go for just about $300 for the Flat Top at all the big box stores(280 @ academy. 299 @ Cabelas)

I got the carry handle one from Cabelas for $250. Took the scope off of my pellet gun and put it on the Mossberg. Bought a from grip/flashlight for $60 on Amazon. I'll see if I can upload a picture

does it come with a helmet?

i know you can do the dew with 1022's and i still love my 40 year old coon and squirrel murderin' machine...But, by the time you add all that army stuff, can't you just buy a smith or sig already made?
