You have a point and he has a point. Both work. I think I probably hate Alabama and their shitty fricking obnoxious self-entitled fans more than I would hate to live with the cancer covered AIDS.

It's dickheads like this.....

Except a better chance at national championships. Let's be real about that.

...that have to interject garbage, penis envy comments in every single thread on this entire board. If LSU football is brought up, you can guarantee that some chicken-little worm is going to pop in and cry about "but Saban did this and Alabama did that."

I mean, I forget. Did LSU not just have a chance at the National Championship less than a year ago? That = not ever getting a chance to play for a national title.

Look, Bama's program is tops in the country right now. No one is denying that. But to say that things haven't fallen their way absolutely perfect is ridiculous. Honestly, if Miles has just been "lucky" for 8 years now, then Saban can too when they've had a starting QB get hurt 3 plays into the 1st NC. The Mulligan Bowl. ...and now is rewarded with a NCG appearance because of one the weakest schedules in country.

It plays both ways. Alabama is not impeccable. ...and LSU is not far behind Alabama as far as a successful program goes.

If you had 4 years to play college football, with what coach do you think you'd have a better shot at winning a national championship with, Miles or Saban?

Saban is going for his 3rd in 4 years. Yeah, Miles got there last year but i said WINNING - who do you think has a better shot at winning it?

I'm pretty sure, arguably the best coach of all time is Saban.

If I'm a recruit well ....

There is nothing neutral about these statemetns

Bama can offer nearly everything we can plus more.

And I'm saying LSU does not offer much near anything Alabama does not. Why can't people understand this

yeah, its tough to compare General Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Kinesiology programs though.

You think 99% of players give two fricks?

and yet he's literally 3 FG's away from being in none of those.

He is a great coach, no one is denying that. But they have had an awful lot of things go right, especially the last 2 years to get into the title games. Ok St losing to Iowa State, missing a 32 yds FG that would have won it. Oregon and KSU losing this years, plus needing a last minute drive to beat LSU, then holding on to beat UGA, after doing basically the same thing LSU did at the end of the Bama game.

Any player has a shot at winning a NC at either school over the next 4 years. Saying one or the other has a"better" shot is meaningless. It's why you and so many other of our spoiled brat fan base will never be happy. You see things only in black and white terms.

You obviously aren't seeing it so it really isn't worth any more of my (or your) time beating a dead horse.

The next time you hear someone who has an opinion different than yours, try not to jump all over them and say they arent a fan, didnt start cheering for LSU since xxxx, up Saban's arse, etc.

Some people on these boards need to chill out. Never thought I'd have this conversation on the RB, though. This place is always so perfectly normal.

Results are black and white.

Who is the less penalized team? What coach is prone to make more dumb mistakes? Who is the better recruiter? (granted Miles is damn good as well)

You can pretend Saban and Miles or Bama and LSU are equals but really .... Bama is a bit better right now.

LSU is great ... i'd be shocked if we don't win a title soon .... but you are MORE LIKELY to win a title under Saban.

luck is when preparation meets opportunity... its not coincidence Bama gets all the luck.

Yeah. The insane media blow job they got after we beat them helped out with that. For some reason every time we were mentioned last year, so were they. Apparently Saban's publicist was living in Bristol handing out HJs to all the on air talent.
