You didn't like BL2? There are 2 expansion packs out for it now.
I think you'd probably like that FarCry 3. Watch some of the videos out on it. Looks pretty sweet. Open world. Tons of side missions, but character build as well. Looks like a Dead Island, minus zombies with more guns.

Actually finished walking dead about two weeks ago. That's another that might be worth another run thru. I'm curious to see how the story plays out with different decisions made

Lol. Someone sent me a message the other day about a $1 zombie game I think? I always forget to check the arcade and downloadable games. I've been pleasantly surprised with most of the stuff I've bought from there

I like to buy the stupid $1 games to mess around with.
You should try the Batman Arkham games. There was a thread about them the other day and while I haven't beat either of them yet I have played them and they are fun.

I like both but I was thinking more rpg. Something like a mass effect where your decision affect the game as you play it. Doesn't necessarily have to be a shooter tho.

Well the stories are loosely tied together but don't involve the same lead character or enemy in any game. It is the definition of WRPG meaning huge open world and story that doesn't involve most if that world.

Skyrim is an amazing game. It's the 5th game in the Elder Scrolls series, and from what I've heard, definitely not the best but certainly the best looking. Very open world, so you can run straight down the main story line or get lost on side quests. If you're not into the fantasy genre, though, don't bother.
