Last I heard:
4 schools: A&M, Texas, SMU, LSU

I read an article that quoted him saying something like this (couldn't find the article):
"I want to play somewhere that I can start immediately" and "I want to play for someone who will make me a pro"

I heard he attended an SMU game over the weekend, and chatted with Larry Brown postgame
I've also read that he "likes what Johnny Jones is doing with the program"
Since Deng Deng is not signing, that last scholarship could be saved for him... Latest news anybody? I know he probably won't sign until April, but would be HUGE for LSU to land him

Change it to maybe, do we have a shot at Keith Frazier? Your title even with a question mark makes it sound like you had info that leads to that. I am sure he has had quotes saying positive things about all schools he is interested in at this point.

I think we do. He's our last big target that I know of for the 2013 class.

I have a great feeling about Frazier. It would be hard not to come here with the guys we've already signed.

I think he would fit in perfectly to Jones's style. He's a great ball-handler for his size and one of the best shooters in 2013 class. He would be lethal in transition for LSU

The only thing that scares me is playing time... He might have to split time with Morgan/Stringer/Quarterman his freshman year. Whereas he could be a 35-40 minute guy elsewhere

One school does not belong in that list...why is he interested in SMU? playing time would be immediate there I guess.

Larry Brown is the coach at SMU, great ties to the NBA

Quarterman will play point, Stringer is no obstacle, and Morgan can also play the 3. If Frazier comes here he would still get big minutes, and possibly start, on a very talented ranked team.

I realize that, but the guy is old as sin and SMU still sucks. He must think he's getting immediate playing time there...he wont be playing in the NCAAT or anything going there.

You might be right, but from what I've seen, Coach Jones coaches his guys to play full-throttle 100% of their time on the court, then take a break and bring in fresh legs.

Can't play for JJ unless you're willing to give 100% at all times

Frazier is an immediate starter here...

Hickey
Frazier
Coleman
Martin
JOB III

Quarterman, Stringer, Morgan, Mickey, Odoh off the bench

Strange to see guys as talented as Morgan and Mickey coming off the bench but they probably would next year if Frazier came to LSU. Hammink and Collins would barely find minutes...for some reason I feel like Courtney may not be back (unless we do have room, which we should)...if he is he may play like a walk on.

I guess I could see Hammink/Morgan split time off the bench pending whether we want to go tall or small.

That's an elite 8 team right there.

I think Hammink will play. Tons of potential there. Big big kid, getting use to American basketball.
