| Christmas in Atlanta things to do? (Posted on 12/4/12 at 7:57 pm)
We are going spend Christmas at my inlaws in Auburn this year. We decided to go to Atlanta one day to go sightseeing and we figured they would have a lot of Christmas activities. Any suggestions? Our 4 year old will be with us so anything Christmas she will love.

It's a two hour drive is what my mother in law said and I've never been to Atlanta. To me it beats sitting around the house doing nothing.

I saw that...how is it? My husband went there when he was young but not during the holidays for the snow mountain.

The light show at the Botantical Garden looks like the way to go with a 4 y.o. It's in Piedmont Park, entrance off Piedmont. They also have ice skating at the Park Tavern, around the corner. Titantic Exhibit is pretty good, but not really for a 4 yo. Acquarium for the kiddo, Coke World if maybe a little older.

I've never gone but have heard good things. It is on the opposite side of Atlanta as Auburn though so the drive is a little longer.
