Sorry, guys, but they would never let me post this on the SEC rant. I am SO pumped about Brasil getting "Big Phil". This takes the Selecao from being an almost certain disappointment in their own World Cup to a legitimate chance (not frontrunner, but at least a realistic chance.)
Love Brasil or hate them, and love Scolari or hate him, this is a serious event for international soccer. If anyone can put that talent together and form a team in a year and a half, this is the man to do it.

No guarantee this works...but firing a proven jackass and hiring a proven WC winner has to be considered a good move.
