If so, then wow... I thought AP came back fast. This would be insane.

I think that would be about the same amount of time. Plus, AP was playing in week 1, while Rose may just be practicing.

yeah i get that he is now called AP because people are stupid and thought the AD nickname was supposed to be AP when they saw it years ago, and so it is now widely accepted as a nickname of his. that is exactly what i am trying to stop, although it is already wayyyyyy late because people suck. not to mention the fact that nicknames that are just people's initials are the worst kind.

ETA: and yes i am willing to ruin this thread to fully discuss this

It literally does not matter.

No. Just, no.

A knee injury in basketball is much, much worse than in football.

Running around on a hard surface vs. Grass/field turf.

The insane amount of jumping involved, again on that hard surface.

Apples and oranges.

Agreed.

This type of knee injury should keep a basketball player out for much longer than a running back simply because of the movements and surfaces of each sport.

Especially a guy like DRose, who probably puts more pressure on his knees than just about any other player in the world.

I'm a Bulls fan and I wouldn't be upset if he missed the entire year. This team isn't contending with or without Rose. I'll be so nervous for him when he comes back.

Exactly why this is so surprising. Basketball can be alot harsher on the knees than football.

His recovery must be going extremely well.
