Exactly. Go home and call the police. Really? This is not rocket surgery. But thugs gonna thug.
At this point, the dude is just trolling.

That, or he's been in 10,000 fights in his life because he thinks stupid shite is a reason for one.

So you think the playing field is better outside than in your own home? You think you are safer attacking some person on the street than you are locked inside your own house? Where you can call the authorities and have them come check it out?

Yes a guy in van talking about me on his phone followed me home, I am confronting him outside when he is alone and I can see him.

What are you talking about. He didn't follow him home. Never even got close to the house.

If you jump his ass, then YOU are the instigator of the fight.

Are you familiar with the Darwin Awards? They are usually handed out posthumously to people like you are pretending to be.

So where was he following him?

What's hilarious is that I have a crim law final on Wednesday and a tort final on friday and verlanders argument re instigation is hilariously incorrect.

I am trying to figure out how he is trying to use the word instigate. I am certainly no lawyer, but it doesn't pass the common sense test for me.

Yeah. I've come to the same conclusion, Shorty. Some people just can't take off the racist blinders. There can never be enough facts to convince them.

The hatred is strong in this one, though. I just don't understand why people like him aren't insanely screaming from the rooftops about B on B crime, though.

The disingenuous posturing on behalf of a black kid that basically killed himself with stupidity is incredible.

He's essentially saying that the mere act of following someone gives justification to the followee to confront and use physical force against the supposed follower. Which is absolutely not true.

I'm not "rooting" for a certain verdict. I'm rooting for a just verdict, whatever that may ultimately be. I am certain that evidence currently not available to the public will be presented at trial. The case may very turn on this currently unknown evidence. I'm just of the opinion that at THIS point, based on the evidence available, the location and relevant distances will be hard to overcome for the prosecution.

I think he is just close minded and came to a conclusion without caring about the facts. He will support that conclusion no matter how much his support lacks in common sense.

Well, he has convinced himself of that regardless of any legalities that may not support his decision.

Hell. frick legalities. Just the idea that it is rational to jump someone's arse and bet the frick out of them just because they might be following you is retarded.

re: Zimmerman back in the news

That conflicts with everything I have read.

Agree there is a lot of conflicting information.

One thing is for certain, this guy made a lot of 911 phone calls (I would think more than the average person).

The link you provided of the details of his previous calls shows that for years there seems to be a problem in this area with "recent burglaries".

This guy called 911 for a lot of suspicious cars, young BM, dogs, kids, neighbors garage doors being open, pitbulls, and even if there was potholes in the road.

None of us will never know what really happened that night. I've been taught there is 2 sides to every story and chances are they won't be the same. Unfortunately, Zimmerman is telling both sides. He describes what the other person to us is doing; that he is "looking suspicious", that "he was running", that "he was attacked" while walking back to his truck.

I'm not saying that it did or didn't happen.

You know that old saying f you "cry wolf" too many time people began to believe less of what you say.

There's no doubt in my mind that GZ was probably an over zealous dude as watchman.

But, in the final analysis, he just tended to make a lot of calls that were probably wastes of time and he followed some guy that apparently didn't like it.

But, the second that dude decided to jump his ass, THAT DUDE became an assailant. Being a bit over zealous or even nuts doesn't make one a legit target to get his arse kicked.

You are correct which is why the only thing you can do is look at the incident and see what you can learn from the facts at hand.

The KEY FACT that is NOT in dispute is that Travon was less than 100 yards from his house at the outset of a 3 minute phone call. This fact BY ITSELF tells us that Trayvon made a CHOICE to not go home because if had just gone home, he'd have been there for about 2 minutes before the confrontation.

To me, this answers the question, "who confronted who" to a near certainty.

So he's supposed to go home and be at the mercy of a creep who has been talking about you on the phone and following you in a van?

I don't know about you, my friend but anybody would have to be an absolute imbecile with suicidal ideations to follow me home and threaten me in any manner once I'm inside my domicile.

Home is not just where the heart is...

To me, when you're being followed, you believe 1 of 2 things about the person following you.

1)They present a real clear and present threat that you may not be immediately equipped to handle

or

2)They are not a danger.

Seems to me that U turning to confront them as a habit is a good way to learn one day that the person falls into category 1.

I mean, the only reason I can see to not get to your house when you are literally inside of 30 seconds from it is if you actually think this person TRAILING YOU by scores of yards is going to chase you there and then try to break in.

Well nitwit, aside from the stupidity of that stance as well as your posts here, if "the guy" you're confronting is armed and you sucker punch him as Trayvon did, I'd hope you're a fan of the after life.

The police consistently refusing to release exculpatory evidence while the press built a fallacious public case against Zimmerman is the stuff of Berlin or Moscow in the 1930's. Horrible.
