Just drove home to Gonzales down Airline Hwy, and both Rotolo's (Gonzales and P'ville) were closed. Any idea why?
I pass by Gtown almost daily and this was the first time I have seen it closed.

Hmmm. I'm curious to know why too. We eat at one or the other about every other week. We are in between the 2.

Hope not, maybe a Christmas party for the employees or something, I eat at the Gonzales one regularly and they seem to keep a decent crowd, have great salads......but wife and I ate at Prairieville one last night and got a pizza and it was horrible

Never found anything to write home about. New one on Millerville's done well so far.

I like the service at the Gonzales location better. Both locations always seem to have a decent crowd.

Could be, although it's early.
Already knew the ROCCO'S in Gonzales had closed, but didn't know the others did till I got home and checked it out online. Got me nervous when I saw both Rotolo's closed as well!

@ Tigerpaw--both Rotolo's were closed around 6 pm as I was coming home.
eta Misunderstood your post. Don't know how many Rocco's there were, but the one on Chimes closed down, and isn't there one around Cedarcrest area?

My brother managed Rocco's in Gonzales. It has been closed for a couple of months now. Not sure about Prairieville location.

Okay makes sense now, I was not aware that other Rocco's had closed, lets hope the rotolos are just for the night, would hate to see that many business in the parish close in a short time.

We ate at Rotolo's in Gonzales Saturday night so they are probably just closed for the night...at least I hope so!

Since you mentioned places closing...anyone heard that Western Sizzlin was shutting down? Just heard this last night. Not that I eat there regularly, but still interesting.

I don't see how they've been open as long as they have.
