Looking to get outfitted with a decent set of Snapper rods and reels that will last- but not looking for the calcuta or stella's here. Maybe something to that can handle black fin and an occasional yellow...

Thinking about Penn Senators, Fin Noir star drag,
Shimano TLD 25, etc..then a few spinning reels Quantum Boca or Cabo or one of the Penn reels

As for poles, no idea.

Can't go wrong with a Penn GTI330. Cost around $120 new, but you can find them on sale for under $100. A good rod for under $100 would be a penn Mariner rod that is 6' in the 30-50lb class. You can find them for under $80. I had 8 of these set ups that were fished hard over 10 years and never had any problems with them. Spool it with 65lb powerpro. Holds about 500 yards of that.

Biggest fish landed was a 12' bullshark. Landed a few Yellowfin tuna on them too even though we were not targeting them.
