| Katie’s Restaurant—Mid City NOLA (Posted on 12/3/12 at 9:35 am)
Ate there yesterday after seeing it on Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives. We ordered the “Iberville” Pizza and it was awesome…spoke with the co-owner, Katie, she was actually in the episode…and for all you “Guy Fieri Haters” she said he was a very, very cool dude, loves New Orleans, and his crew was amazing, she said they were all hung over form the night before because they were at a Saints game, but she gave props to Guy. She was very nice and the pizza, Bloody Marys and Mimosas were amazing…highly recommend the place.

It is a good, neighborhood restaurant. They have a wide variety menu and they tend to do everything pretty good. From Pizza to stuffed lobster, I've never had a bad meal there.

Always want to go here but never think about it when in town.

Used to have the best meatloaf and hamburger steak around. A good fried shrimp remoulade as well.

Went there a few weeks ago. Wanted Liuzza's but they were closed. Katie's was a block away. Had the chicken and waffles. It was damn good.
