| Christmas Day restaurants? (Posted on 12/2/12 at 7:14 pm)
My wife and 2 sons will be visiting family in BR on Christmas Day. By family I mean mother in nursing home, brother in 1 bedroom apartment, and a sister that lives with another family in NO. I'm hoping there will be something decent open for a nice meal. We didn't think far enough ahead to get a suite with a kitchen such as Residence Inn or we would cook it ourselves.

I haven't heard of anything yet, but I googled and found this list from last year. LINK You might try calling those places and see if they'll be open this year.

Try hotel restaurants.

Per A Christmas Story, most Chinese places are open.
