Tried to find a place for dinner last night after watching the SEC Championship game last night, tried to get into Sylvain, Mr. B's, NOLA and K-Pauls with no luck because lack of reservations.

We settled on SouBou, we ordered several of the smaller plates and split a steak.

Very enjoyable but the service was lacking due to the amount of customers during their dinner rush.

We plan on trying it again during a slower night, with that said I would recommend it.

That's all folks.

We tried a cheese plate, cracklingswith pimento cheese dip, fois grois burger slider, strip steak, and a side order or macaroni cheese with bacon,

It was a nice version of "comfort food" but we definitely ordered too much food for two people.

Not a place I'd go for a true "dinner", but it's nice for drink and small plates. It focuses on atmosphere but that's okay.

I didn't find it worked as a place to try to eat an ACTUAL MEAL at, at all.

Probably right, although I suppose definitions differ from person to person.
