8PM EST NatGeo.
LINK
I would usually think these were boring and a repeat of the same ole Mayan calendar thing but the previews look good.
I saw the doomsday preppers show last night on repeat and the guy getting his eardrum blown out from his buddies gun blast was weird.

The one dude last night called his compound THE ALAMO had 700 acres and was anal. The dumbasses made motive cocktail bombs and shot at them with high powered rifles and blew out his eardrum.
While he was anal making his 10 and 12 yr old kill a trapped goat with a knife and hanging and gutting it in food prep. At least the kid won't grow up thinking the only way to eat was from McDonalds. But a tad too young, maybe. I dunno.
Prepping is smart look at the NJ people in Sandy so dependent. But some people take it too far.

I can't find a preview on youtube but it is a different show. They say in the preview that birds falling from the sky is a sign.
It better not be stupid like the last one.
Did they change the end of the world to 12/12/12 or is it still 12/21/12?

I think the guy on (was it preppers?) that sells underground shelters has some good shelters. They never say a price though. Complete with a picture that looks like the outside so you don't bug out.

The 2012: Countdown... one wasn't that good. Showing again tonight at 6:00 p.m. CST.
Tonight they have three brand new offerings:
7:00 p.m. CST Doomsday: Book of Revelation
Examining prophecies of the end of the world found in the final book of the New Testament.
8:00 p.m. CST The Mayan Apocalypse 2012
Filmmaker Paul Murton examines the history behind the Mayan calendar and it's end date, Dec. 21, 2012, which some believe is the date of the apocalypse. Also: a look at how people are preparing for doomsday scenarios.
9:00 p.m. CST Mayan Underworld Real Doomsday
Journalist Diego Bunuel searches in hopes of gaining insight into the Mayan calendar's end date, Dec. 21, 2012, which some believe is the date of the apocalypse.
Who would have thought a great magazine, that was once a measuring stick for the seriousness of one's interest in our world, would become a haven for wackos to warn us about our imminent end. Any fool who pays for basic cable/satellite so he can watch Catfish the TV Show, gets access what once required a membership. I guess looking at one of the "Primitive Tribes" photo shoots after getting drunk back in the 70's wasn't so bad after all.
