| I think the Fiscal Cliff is probably more like a Revenue Hill (Posted on 12/1/12 at 5:02 pm)
The CBO and the powers that be have projected/determined that if automatic cuts are allowed to happen, a lot of gloomy economic numbers will follow. Reality: if next year I have to pay an (estimated) $300 a month, then guess what? It's back to basic cable, a flip-phone with no data plan, conservation on electricity, less lattes, etc. There won't be as much sales tax coming in. Companies will be leaner. People (including the wealthy) will learn to live with less. It's not as big a deal as they make it

so companies will have to do layoffs. more people will be on unemployment, and those already on it will have theirs end with still no employment.
