When you consider that our firts 2 games we gave up 40 and 35, I'd say that's pretty good. Also, we didn't give up fewer than 24 until our 9th game vs Philly. Most of the media are concerned with ypg, but I'm concerned with ppg. I'm proud of those boys, especially Harper.

We might be the 32nd ranked defense, but we aren't playing like it.

I really hurts when the offense gives away TD's and puts the D in tough situations. Never thought I'd say it, but the last two games were lost by the offense.

Damn you, Breesus!!!! You forgot Mr. Hicks!!! Man, just think. Next year we'll have an improving Corey White, get Gallette back, probably play Walker, and get Mr. Romeus. Oh, and SP to manage the clock and half time adjustments better. That schedule will be pretty rough with the NFC West, AFC East, 2-4 place NFC East team, and 2-4 place North team. Yep! We get the 9ers again, probably on the road. But like Mr. T said in a Christian movie I have, "We can do this here"!!!

I love that the saints defensive line is starting to get pressure as well as spags blitzing a bit more now that he has vilma and hawthorne at LB to compliment lofton. Also, Brees has thrown entirely too much this year for my liking, SP keeps a balanced offence and that helps Brees do the things we have seen him do. Next year the saints will be back at about the 13 win plateau as they should be and everything will be well in the WHO DAT nation once more.

It's true, the D has looked really improved lately. Hopefully with a little re-tooling in the offseason the D will be a force to be reckoned with.
