Aging deer.

Can you age a deer using the top jaw or is it strictly the bottom?

Excuse me, I mean up front. But your answer is no. You only use the bottom back teeth. That is the only way I have heard of it being done anyway.

Yeah it's the only way I've heard of it being done also. I was just curious if it could be done by the top teeth or whatever you want to call them. I don't see what the difference in the teeth could be.

You could prolly do it but the top teeth may stop growing after a certain year old making it harder to tell. I am not really sure.

Got a couple GJs on my club & they say bottom jaw only
But did see them argue on my deer this year cause one said 4 & the other 5
