Where is the delusion stronger? Nega-Miles or Arky board?

Check out this gem. They really seem to think that while Jeff Long is trying to make a home run hire for his football program, he thought his time would be best allocating "trolling" LSU to make sure they commit more of their resources to Miles salary.
Next on the list Alabama. Long plans to offer Saban 10 years $120MM. Then Bama will have to up their money to Saban. Long will drive up the SEC coaching salaries so high that no one has any money left over for other areas. Flagship rises to the top. Brilliant!
ETA: with respect to DaleDenton. He seems to be the only non-moron in that thread.

They are morons. After their cluster frick of a year and the arse whipping we put on them.last year with one if their best teams ever "coached by the moron" you would think a 2nd tier program would have a little more respect.

Well, it seems to have worked regarding LSU.. Doubt the other ADs are quite as stupid.

They are as delusional about this as LSU fans. Miles himself said the talks didn't get too far. Les Miles agent trolled everyone for money, end of story. There was never a chance Miles would end up at Arkansas and neither party seems to have strongly showed interest in the other.

I think Long was simply trying to help his pal Miles renegotiate a better deal and to help himself with Arky fans to show he was trying for the very best.
Both of these make perfects sense.
The theory that Long is trying to raise the cost of living for his competitors FAILS. By raiseing these competitive salaries, Arky raises it's own cost for its own coach in the same conference. Even Arkansas isn't that stupid.
